Visual Artist
Yakamoza is a Valencia-based contemporary abstract artist working across painting and photography, exploring the transformation of organic structures into abstract, almost living forms.
Yakamoza’s work begins with observation — natural textures, shifting light, erosion, plant structures, stone surfaces, and atmospheric fragments gathered from the surrounding world. Through processes of reduction, layering, compositional balance, and distortion, these elements are transformed into autonomous visual pieces that move between abstraction and recognition.
Working with acrylics, mixed media, and photography, her practice focuses on texture, spatial tension, and the emotional presence of surfaces. The resulting works evoke structural rhythms, geological formations, alien-like structures, and tactile landscapes that exist somewhere between the natural and the unfamiliar.
Based in Valencia, Spain, Yakamoza creates contemporary abstract art and photographic works for collectors, galleries, and interior spaces seeking atmospheric, textured, and concept-driven visual work.
